Productivity Managers
Responsibilities
You are responsible for participating in productivity and innovation initiatives that SMa spearheads in its effort to drive process improvement and productivity growth across the manufacturing industry in Singapore.
This includes:
- Mentor and advise organisations participating in SMa's productivity programs to implement productivity improvement roadmaps, particularly through the Lean Six Sigma methodology and business process re-engineering strategy
- Assist participating companies to set up a process framework for critical project identification, project progress tracking and project results measurement
- Facilitate project teams from participating organizations to apply the Lean Six Sigma tools effectively to eliminate wastes, reduce variation and improve processes
- Train and impart productivity improvement tools to participants
- Identify barriers to success and facilitate project teams and their management to remove the barriers
- Provide productivity diagnostics and productivity assessments to aid participating organisations in enhancing their productivity improvement roadmaps
- Provide advisory service to participating companies on government funding schemes related to productivity and innovation activities
- Work with other SMa secretariats to organise training, workshops, seminars and conferences for productivity and innovation
- To develop some curriculum programmes pertaining to productivity and innovation
Requirements
- Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business Administration or related discipline from a recognised university
- Certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt / Master Black Belt with proven records of successful project execution with subsequent cost savings
- At least 5 years' experiences in a process or productivity improvement role, with considerable exposure to process re-engineering work in a manufacturing and/or service industry
- Good working experience in developing process framework, metrics and measurement systems
- Proficiency in other best practices such as TQM, 8D, ISO, CMMI, etc. is an advantage
- Strong training, mentoring and project management skills, with excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Independent, self-starter with strong leadership qualities and yet a good team player
- Good interpersonal and negotiation skills with ability to interface with operational personnel as well as senior leaders of an organisation
- Critical-thinking ability and problem-solving skills to deal with highly complex, cross functional processes and strategic projects

Senior Executives/Executives - Training Sales
Responsibilities
- Sales and marketing of training programmes
- Contribute towards annual improvement on sales and marketing objectives and sales revenue
- Ensure training coordination duties are fulfilled with organisation procedures
- Reach out to potential corporate customer to provide basic training needs advice
- Prepare training proposal and follow-up with potential corporate customers
- Liaison with training facilitators and trainees to ensure quality training is provided
- Attend to customers' enquiries with service excellence
Requirements
- Minimum Diploma holder with at least 2 years' relevant experience preferred
- Proficient in MS Office Applications: Excel, Access, Word, Powerpoint
- Candidate who is familiar with marketing of seminars and training programmes or possesses prior knowledge in corporate training will have an added advantage
- Good written and oral communication with strong planning and selling skills
- A good team player and results oriented, ability to work under pressure and on tight schedule in a dynamic working environment
- Preferably able to commence work immediately or within short notice

Requirements
- Degree in the relevant industries
- 5 years of relevant working experience, with at least 1 year in conducting training
- Possession of Advanced Certificate in Training and Assessment (ACTA) is preferred

Ability to demonstrate the competencies to design, plan, conduct and assess Competency-Based Training that are consistent with the core modules in WSQ training competency framework is preferred
