Electrical & Electronics and Allied Industries (EEAI) Industry Group

Introduction

As one of the largest industry groups in SMa, the Electrical, Electronics and Allied Industries (EEAI) Industry Group (IG) meets quarterly to discuss industry issues, as well as to share experiences among committee members.

In view of the many varied interests of its members, the group is further divided into four sub-groups. They are:

  • Consumer Electrical & Electronics Products (CEEP) sub-group
  • Information, Communications and Technology (ICT) sub-group
  • Industrial Electrical & Electronics Products (IEEP) sub-group
  • Supporting Industries and Services (SIS) sub-group
  • Each sub-group is headed by a sub-group Chairman.
     

Main Objectives

  • To identify growth markets (Vietnam, Malaysia, India, China and Middle East)
  • To assist members through SMa International Network
  • To act as the communicator to the Government Agencies on issues/problems faced by SMa members
  • To generate business opportunities for members through matchmaking among members and non-members
  • To organise cross networking events with other SMa IGs members
