Automation Technology

Formed in the year 2000, the SMa Automation Technology Industry Group's (ATIG) mission is to provide a total solution to the Automation industry. Since its establishment, ATIG has organised numerous trade exhibitions, informative forums, institutional visits, and social events for its members.

On top of this, ATIG has also organised many CEO forums and visits to various research institutions, including the Agency for Science, Technology and Research (A*STAR). Through active participation, ATIG encourages synergy and collaboration among its members and the institutions.

ATIG does not limit its participation locally. Its members have been participating actively in overseas exhibitions, including MetalTech, ITM, WorldTech, and the Shanghai International Fair. Not forgetting fun and more networking opportunities, ATIG organises regular street soccer tournaments, wine appreciation events and annual dinners.

Main Objectives

To be "THE VOICE" and provide consultative and advisory support for SMEs
To act as a platform for networking
To formulate initiatives and programmes to motivate members to collaborate
To encourage cohesiveness and collaboration among members to form a small consortium
To reinforce communication and synergy among industry and related industries members
To raise the skills and knowledge levels of the Automation Technology Industry
To establish and strengthen links with regional Automation groups
To act as the governing and supporting body for IA safety and non-safety standards
